You are God’s builder.

His Spirit-filled missionary.
His sanctified servant.
Set apart and sent into your world to make disciples.

And we are convinced of this:
Jesus is still speaking.
His authority is still active.
And His command to make disciples is still central.

Therefore we gather as His Church.
To encounter the voice of our King.
To be encouraged in the presence and power of our Lord.
And to be equipped in the service of our Saviour.

Pastors David & Cheryl Koop

COASTAL CHURCH | Vancouver

David and Cheryl Koop are the founders and pastors of Coastal Church, a thriving, culturally diverse, and Spirit-filled church in Downtown Vancouver. In 1994, they took a bold step of faith to plant a church. Today, Coastal Church has expanded to 10 locations across various cities.

Together, they serve on multiple non-profit boards and have launched initiatives like the Eden Project and Eden Café, helping transform lives in downtown Vancouver.

Pastor Matt Tapley

Lakemount Worship Centre | Ontario

Matt Tapley has been the Lead Pastor of Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby, Ontario since 2008. He is a gifted leader who serves the Church by developing leaders in a culture of dependence on the Spirit with full devotion to the unchanging Word of God.

After eight years of planting and leading Cities Church in Brandon (Manitoba), they recently relocated to Regina (Saskatchewan) to plant the third location of Cities Church. Their greatest dream is to leave a legacy of soul-winning, disciple-making, city-transforming churches across Canada.

ENCOURAGEMENT

Encounters with Jesus encourage us as we do the work of making disciples. At Builders Gathering, you will be encouraged by encountering Jesus in worship.

INSTRUCTION

‍At Builders Gathering, you will be equipped with teaching from God’s Word and practical, experience-based wisdom on how to make disciples as a church.

Impartation

‍Instruction without impartation makes our equipping incomplete. Paul wrote to the Romans saying “I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong.” Expect to receive an impartation and to be spiritually strengthened at Builders Gathering!
